The James Bond theme tune is as iconic as vodka Martinis, Aston Martins and sexy ladies slipping into something more comfortable. We have had some classic tunes and some absolute turkeys over the years, but what of the theme tune for this year’s Skyfall? It was written and performed by British singing sensation Adele, who can do no wrong at the moment. Can she deliver a fitting theme song for the worlds’s greatest spy? What did you think? It’s definitely very Bond-y, with some great string sections and Adele’s voice is as incredible as ever. It reminds me a lot of the original Bond tracks from the late 60s and early 70s, and while it didn’t blow me away at first, it really grew on me after the second hearing. Let’s hope the movie is just as good.
